The Come Up.

If you're as odd as I am, you've been doing 80s fashion for years, and not starting now because everyone else has finally caught on. Where Im from..different is definitely not a good thing..everyone wears the same shoes, shirts, and on principle, has the same style. There are select few who actually know what they're doing..(Hello Coolies.) But finally, im out of there, doing what i love in the fashion world, surrounded by the madness, pressure, and colors of the life behind the scenes. Let's Review Shall We?
Flashback to Fall '06.
My first professional show, i was in charge of hair and make-up and i wont lie. i didnt know what i was doing, i knew that this is where i wanted to be but i didnt know if i could handle it.
To make a long story short i came out like a Champ. Met Mychael Knight, and Bre from ANTM and basically began breaking ground on building my name. People were starting to know who i was, and the people i wanted to know my first name, somehow knew my last name too.

And this is wear my status as one of the best members back stage
grew. Im sure you're wondering why im so proud of simply being back stage, but what you dont understand is that, models just walk, they dont choose their own clothes, do their own hair and make up, they dont even dress themselves. It's up to the backstage staff to give you the show of your life, and having all that responsibility on top of you makes me feel so good that im being relied on, therefore, im going to give you exactly what you want in a show......HEAT.

Keeping in the mindset that you make other people fashionable, you yourself have to be fashionable as well..i could walk around in sweatpants and tee shirts all day everyday but honestly..who wants to see that crap. can you rely on the someone to get you dressed who looks like a slob? Therefore i began to model my self after someone..might sound weird that it's not a girl but its not really his appearance or the fact that i want to be like him, but his freakin ideas are so crazy you cant help but listen to him. ((insert macDRE)

He told me once that if this is what i really loved, then this is what ill do, i have to be dedicated to it, and willing to do it whenever anybody needed it. He told me that this is what he loved and wanted to do with life, and therefore he'd sacrifice his laziness to be fly everyday. It's not just a job, but career (trust me kids, they're two Totally Different things)) You never know who you're going to meet, who you might inspire, who you might incite envy into. Take for example yesterday. I met Fonsworth Bentley, ((ex-man servant to P.Diddy) fresh from head to toe, luckily i was dressed for the affair, had i been lookin like who shot john in some wretched sweatpants..do you honestly think he wouldve taken me seriously?

eh.Doubt It.

In Closing. Do what you gotta do to get the ish Done. Always remember to never forget who you once were. Hopefully by now you've grown into what you want to be...and if not, i hope you get there, clearly, im just a small city girl from akron, ohio, who once dressed like...((yeesh)

That Was Old Me... and i kicked her out...
but now i've gotten a little
classier....
a
little smoother...and just a tad but....flyer...
and now..

I BID YOU.....GOOD DAY!
